Social Media Coordinator
We are currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team part-time (20 hours/week) starting June 2021. This job will have primarily weekday hours, and require you to have your own laptop computer and smartphone. We are based in East Vancouver and would ideally have this candidate work from our head office, but will consider remote candidates as well.
Our ideal candidate will have training or experience in Communications and Marketing. Completion of a college or university level program in these areas, Public Relations or Journalism is an asset. They will have a creative spirit, keen attention to detail and a hilarious sense of humour.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of social media for business, including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.
Experience using Later, Slack, Klaviyo, Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign is an asset.
Job Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Planning and captioning all social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & TikTok) while adhering to our brand pillars,events schedule, and marketing calendar
- Assisting in brainstorming, planning, formatting, writing and posting our Journal posts in accordance with our marketing calendar
- Customer communication & engagement through all social media platforms
